The Grand Feast
The diningroom was made into the Great Hall.
The table was covered with a purple tablecloth and strewn with gold confetti stars
and kidpalm-size glass pebbles
. You can get those pebbles at any craft store.
The kids all loved them and wanted to take them home. I let them of course.
I bought gold colored plastic plates, utensils, and cups. Purple napkins.
For drinks I set out sodas in orange, grape, sprite flavors and each kid was given a
Mason Jar and encouraged to mix any potion they wanted to drink.
There was also a Rootbeer bottle labeled "ButterBeer" for each of them.
The adults just got a cooler on the deck with beer and stuff.
We had a wide variety of food including
Italian Sausage (Dragon Links)
Hot Dogs (Baby Dragon Links)
Potato Salad (Hagrid's Hash)
Baked Beans (Dingleberries)
Corn-on-the-cob (forget what we called it).
Chex Mix (Wizards Trail Mix)
Chocolate-dipped Pretzel Wands.
